Largely a mixture of flavouring spices used down with taste-agents similar to chilli & black pepper to impart a pleasantly textured flavour to normal rice. Pulav/Biryani can either be a Non-Veg or a Veg preparation usually complete through unusual occasions. It is a whole meal by itself, and is almost for all time the centre-piece of most Indian dinner parties.
